EE KUM KEE — Heritage
A film celebrating the centuries-old tradition of oyster sauce making in Hong Kong, tracing its origins from the pristine coastal waters to a flavour that has become known around the world. The project explores the craftsmanship, secrets, and cultural heritage behind one of the defining ingredients of Chinese cuisine.
Working alongside Hong Kong creatives and a local production team, we explored the richness of a culture shaped by centuries of culinary tradition. Our aim was to capture the spirit of Asian flavours through a visual language that combines cultural authenticity with a European perspective on the universal history of taste.
